This privacy notice is provided pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and the applicable Italian data protection provisions. Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale is a company established in Italy and, as such, is subject to the GDPR when processing personal data. This notice explains how Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale processes personal data provided by individuals who, during events, fairs, meetings or promotional initiatives, complete the contact sheet in order to be contacted by the company and/or to receive promotional communications.

Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale may process the personal data provided through the contact form, such as:
company name;
address, city and country;
telephone number and/or mobile number;
email address;
device, product or service of interest;
preferences expressed in relation to marketing communications and contact channels;
date and signature;
any additional information voluntarily provided during the event or in subsequent communications.
Where the information provided refers to a company, business or professional organisation, Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale will process such information as personal data only to the extent that it relates to an identified or identifiable individual, such as a contact person, individual professional, sole trader or company representative. Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale asks data subjects not to provide information that is not necessary for the purposes described in this privacy notice.

The provision of personal data is voluntary. However, failure to provide the data necessary to manage the contact request may prevent Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. from contacting the data subject or providing the requested information. Consent for marketing purposes is optional. Refusal to give consent does not affect participation in the event or the possibility of receiving information strictly related to a specific request made by the data subject. Marketing communications will be sent only through the communication channels for which the data subject has given specific consent.
Personal data will be processed using paper-based, electronic and digital tools, in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, data minimisation, accuracy, integrity and confidentiality. Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale adopts appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction.
Personal data may be processed by authorised personnel of Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale who need to access the data for the purposes described in this privacy notice. Personal data may also be disclosed to third parties who process personal data on behalf of Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale, including IT service providers, communication service providers, marketing support providers, consultants, collaborators and commercial agents. In particular, the contact details provided through the contact sheet may be transmitted to collaborators and/or commercial agents of Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale, appointed as data processors pursuant to Article 28 GDPR, where they process personal data on behalf of Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale and under its documented instructions, for the purpose of contacting interested individuals, providing commercial information and promoting or selling machinery, devices, products or services offered by Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale. Such collaborators and/or commercial agents are not authorised to use the personal data for their own independent purposes. Personal data may also be disclosed to public authorities, judicial authorities, supervisory authorities or other parties where required by law.
Personal data may be processed within the European Union and the European Economic Area. Where, for organisational, commercial or technical reasons, personal data are transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA, including through collaborators, agents, service providers or IT tools located outside the EU/EEA, Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale will ensure that such transfers take place in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR. In particular, transfers may be based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or, in the absence of such decision, on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. Personal data collected through the contact sheet will be retained for as long as necessary to manage the contact request. Where the data subject has given consent to marketing communications, personal data will be retained for as long as the data subject maintains such consent and interest in receiving communications from Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale. Every six months, Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale may send a verification communication to the contacts included in its marketing lists, through the channels for which consent has been given, in order to ask whether they are still interested in receiving communications from the company. If the data subject withdraws consent or states that they are no longer interested in receiving communications, Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale will stop processing the data for marketing purposes and will delete the contact details from its active marketing lists, unless retention is necessary to comply with legal obligations or to keep minimal information required to document the withdrawal of consent and avoid further unwanted communications. If the data subject does not reply to two consecutive verification communications, Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale may suspend the sending of marketing communications and delete the contact details from its active marketing lists, unless there is another valid legal basis for retaining the data.
The data subject may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Consent may be withdrawn by contacting Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale at info@cesarequaranta.it or dpo@cesarequaranta.it or by using the unsubscribe or opt-out mechanisms made available in the communications received, where applicable.
Under the GDPR, the data subject may exercise, where applicable, the following rights:
right of access to personal data;
right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
right to erasure of personal data;
right to restriction of processing;
right to object to processing;
right to data portability;
right to withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Requests may be submitted to Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale using the contact details indicated in this privacy notice. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or with the supervisory authority of the EU Member State where they reside, work or where the alleged infringement occurred. Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale will respond to data subjects’ requests without undue delay and, in any case, within one month of receipt of the request. This period may be extended by two further months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of the requests. In such case, Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale will inform the data subject of the extension and the reasons for the delay within one month of receipt of the request.
Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale may update this privacy notice where necessary, for example in the event of changes to the processing activities, communication channels, recipients of personal data or applicable legal requirements. The updated version of this privacy notice will be made available through the channels used by Cesare Quaranta S.r.l. Unipersonale, including at the event desk, by QR code/link or upon request.
